cordless hammer drill repair
My cordless hammer drill needs a part. Only information I have is on the drill: "Speedway Series" and "18V"
Any help as to the manufacturer or where I can obtain parts will be appreciated.
Thanks, FLA Printer

There is a possibility that you have an offshore ultra-low priced tool.
This type of tool is readily available here. There are clearance and liquidation stores that regularly offer power tools for cheap.
Not sure if that is what you have but maybe. Often they are not even marked with a UL or other inspection certification.
Locally you are not allowed to retail a tool that is not approved.
I don't know how they get away with it. I guess no one complains.
Where did you purchase this, and for how much?

Don't give up completely.
If you compare what the 18 volt battery connection to the drill looks like, maybe you can narrow down either the mfr or what design it was copied from.
Exactly what part do you need?

The screw that holds the chuck assembly is broken. As far as I can determine, it is some ******* metric thread. Nothing in the local hdw. stores. or in my "junk drawer".
I will try to match it up with a well-known brand.
Thanks again, FLA Printer
