14.4v Rechargeable batteries

Such a dilemma! Because Skil is recalling (and replacing at no cost) one of their rechargeable drills, battery chargers and batteries I will end up with 4 batteries for my new drill. My use is strictly home repair, hobby etc. My question is should I keep all 4 batteries charged and rotate the use of them OR since 2 have been more than adequate 95% of the time should I put the 2 extra batteries aside until the ones I'm using will no longer hold a useful charge?

You must keep all the batteries in constant rotation.
These batteries will discharge by themselves when sitting idle in a relatively short period of time.
Eventually they will not take a charge.
