p&c tools

Does anyone know what happened to P&C tools? Did they have a lifetime warrenty? Did someone buy the company? Who sells them now? Thanks.

Could be re-branded for a certain retailer.
Google turned up nothing.

Would these be purchased at a particular retailer?

I don't know where to get them. The only P&C tools I see are at least 10 years old.

McCuLLoch Chainsaw part

I know McCuLLocH Chain saws are not made any more. I have an Old Mac 10, serial number 6000160, another number below that is 13-138314. This saw has been passed from Dad to his Dad, and back down to me. Over the years the little slide part and screw that tightens the chainsaw blade was lost. This saw runs like a swiss clock, and I refuse to discard it over a tiny part, that someone may have, or know how to get. It's only problem is keeping the chain tight. Is this saw OK?

I am looking into buying a circular saw for small projects and eventually (when I buy a house) around the house. It will likely be used less than a dozen times a year, maybe a half dozen. I am a novice to woodworking, although I have made a few small projects with borrowed tools. Is this a good saw for my purposes? The "good saws" are $100-120+, while this one is half that. I would really like a table saw, but I don't have the money nor the space for a contractors saw, and I have been told to avoid the smaller tables saws that go for $200 or less (even though I did see a decent looking delta table saw for $170.
