Question Old Oil Cans

Unable to control my compulsion for old tools I found and bought an old oil can at a garage sale. It has "OVB Our Very Best" stamped on it and was made by "HBS & Co. in Chicago, Illinois."

Does anyone know what the initials "HBS" stood for?

Thumbs up

I received an email explaining the initials HSB stood for an old Chi-Town hardware store chain named Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company that used OVB - "Our Very Best" as their slogan.
