Look on the motor nameplate for a dual voltage listing. Most of the time they are there and you can decide what circuit size you will need to operate the motor. Depending on the motor size it could be possible to convert to 120 V, but the current draw can get pretty high at startup. If the motor has built in thermal overload protection (usually a small red reset button on the motor) you can create a circuit just for the motor to ensure startup an dgood operation.
