restoring hook & loop sander

Hi, I have a "Skil Random Orbit Sander" model #7384. The hook and loop backing will no longer hold my disks. I replaced the "backing pad" several years ago and that helped. It is again worn down but now I can't seem to find anyone who sells parts for them. It is a great working tool but it will no longer hold onto the disks. I don't want to just throw the tool away. Is there some way to replace the hook and loop itself? Has anyone ever tried to do this? How can I continue to use this tool? Does anyone know where I can still get parts?

Thanks

Depending upon the size, it may be that other brands will fit.

You might get in touch with Skil and see if they can help you.

Hope this helps.
