Table Saw

I plan to buy a "portable" table saw for some work that I am doing at my second home (we call them "camps" here in Maine. Sears has one on sale for $188 and H.D. has a Roybi for $229. It looks as though eithe one will serve the purpose. I really like the looks of the Roybi set up. Anyone with any experience with thier tools?

I don't have direct experience with either but would say that the quality between them would be pretty much the same.

I think that your best choice would be made by the overall appearance and function of the fence, mitre guide, raise/lower mech and guard. Just go play with them and see which one works better.

I have the very bottom of the line Skill as a portable saw and the fence is about the cheapest, most poorly constructed thing I have ever seen.
I might throw it away and use a board and a couple of clamps.
