Best type of Hammer & Chisel for concrete

I need to break/chisel away a few inches of cement that encases a broken underground feeder cable. The encased cable leads into the lawn lamp base but when they originally placed the lamp they must of poured cement to make sure it was well anchored but unfortunately now that I need to replace a portion of this cable I have a problem. I think if I'm able to chisel away a few inches of the cement I might be able to free up the cable. What kind of hammer & chisel would best accomplish this?

We meet again.
You need what is called a "lump" hammer. It's just a small, short handeled sledge. Probably 3 or 4 lbs..
The chisel is just a large cold chisel, made for this purpose. Don't get a brick layers chisel. They are around 3 or 4 inches wide. Way to wide to make the job easy.
