Orbital sander as a buffer?

Orbital sander as a buffer?
My wife uses a product, similar to car paste wax, on the bathroom countertop. Does anyone make a 5" hook and loop buffing pad that SHE could use to buff the wax off? I've never seen one at the big box places.

I've used a buffing pad that is for those cheap polishing kits for electric drills.
The pads tie on with a drawstring.
Make sure you tuck the loose piece of string under the pad.
I'd hate to see a finger wrapped aroung the shaft of the ROS!
Also, be carefull not to put too much pressure on the tool as polishing may put a bigger load on the motor than sanding.

I have been checking out the ROS sanders for a week or so now trying to figure out which brand will be next.
I think it is Bosch or Makita that has a lambs wool polishing disk for ROS sanders. I also believe that it is only meant for low speeds on a variable speed sander. I wouldn't want to be very close to a "buffing wheel" going 12 to 14000 rps!
