tamper proof screws

I hate to admit it, but 2 tamper proof screws are winning the fight to remove them. My dog chewed the new iron cord and I need to replace it. Should be easy except I cannot get past the screws. The screws are smooth on top except for two indentations on opposite ends. Think of it as a flat blade screw with the middle section filled in. The screws are set deep into a the pastic case preventing access for the vice grips. Any ideas?

Manhattan Supply ( I think msc.com , but I'm not 100% sure ) also contains screw drivers and bits with the two dot pattern you mentioned. Make sure to order the proper size. Just like other screw drivers they come in sizes, a flat blade or Philips will accept the wrong size but the two dot screws require the correct size.
