Radial Arm Saw

Ready to buy one but...are they as accurate as compound miter saws? My little delta 8 inch is amazingly accurate but obviously I cant do Dado's on it.
Also is it possible to put a dado blade on a compound sliding miter saw? Just having trouble deciding which to buy. I have a great table saw and i have recently discovered the extra long miter gauges any experience with these...if i get one would i even need a radial arm saw....so many tools...so many choices...life is good.

Yes, life is good.

But, if you've got a table saw, do you really need a radial arm??
Why not just buy a 6 inch dado set and plop 'em in your table saw?
Then you can cut dado's lengthwise too!

I doubt if any miter saw manufacturer recommends using a dado blade on their saw. Even if it would fit inside the blade guard, I doubt if you could control the feed rate.
