Looking for suggestions on cutting tool.

Can anyone suggest what kind of electric tool I can use to cut aluminum in a small space?

I need to cut flanges out of a window frame and there isn't a lot of room to do it, so I cannot just use a regular metal cutting saw.

For example, is there anything that I could attach to a drill to grind it down/off? Is there anything better than using a drill and attachment?

THANKS!
KELLY

you can buy cutoff wheels to chuck into a drill they arent terribly expensive just be carefull and be sure to wear eye protection .
I have used them to cut off bolts in tight areas

I used a cordless jigsaw when I needed to trim the flanges on a window frame and it worked just fine

will take care of this for you. If it doesn't fit, nothing will.

tight places

I've had great sucess with a tool called a "body saw" but it runs off compressed air. It looks like a miniature sawzall. Very small but gives great control. Get one at any good hardware store. Even Sears sells them in Automotive tool section. good luck
