Sharpening kit for planes/chisels

I have just started using some high quality planes and chisels so I need to invest in some sharpening equipment. Is this kit a good investment?

Hello: Alex

That kit would do fine for occassional sharpening all the wrok being done by hand. Accuracy and quality, in the final sharpening process, all depends upon practice and developing individual sharpening skills, etc.

May be better to have the sharpening done at a local sharpening shop, if the sharpening will only be required periodically. Or purchase the kit and practice on older tools. Not those new tools recently purchased. Sharpening mistakes do happen and are difficult to correct. Practice makes perfect.
