Miter Saw Stands

I was wondering if anyone uses any of the store bought miter saw stands? Specifically, I was wondering if anyone has used any miter saw stands from the Rousseau Co.? I saw some of their stands for sale on amazon.com. I don’t really need a portable stand like they sell at Home Depot or Lowe’s and I would like to find one a little cheaper than $200. I would like a stand that I could keep my saw on in the corner of the garage and pull it out when I need it. I just wanted to see if anyone has had any luck with these products from Rousseau or any other brands. Thanks.

Do you have a B&D workmate? If you do, set up your saw on a piece of plywood and attach a piece of 2x4 to the bottom. When you want to use your saw, jsu oen up the workmate and clamp the whole works (via) the 2x4 in the workmate and start sawing
