O'Malley tools?

Anyone ever bought an O'Mally tool? I thought I get opinions before I bought anything.

Hi Apiersma,
- you may want to read through "Tool-Shop" Brand Tools: Any Good?
(down a few threads below.) Look at post #8. I think this is what we have in O'Malley tools.
Compare the Biscuit joiner - an obvious take-off of one of DeWalt's, the Jig saw, an obvious Bosch copy, the circular saw - an early Skil. The 18v. Cordless drill is almost identical to one sold up here as "Viper" , a very mediocre drill, with an absolute garbage battery.
There are 'cheap' tools and 'even cheaper' tools. I think from what I read at their site, O'Malley is having generic copies of good tools made in Taiwan or Malaysia. They apparently fall into the latter category.

Do it Right - Do it once.

You get what you pay for.

I try to stay away from any company that has a toll free number for sales, and a number that I have to pay for if I have a customer service problem.
