New Britain handtools

I have some New Britain handtools, ratchets and sockets that I inherited from my father. He purchased them at NAPA store back in the 60s.He said they had a lifetime warranty. One of the ratchet wrenchs wore out. NAPA says this tool outfit is out of bussines.Do you have any ideas where to check this out. They are a real good set.

Believe your tools were made by New Britain in Conneticut. If you look at Blackhawk tools you will probably see an exact match. Blackhawk are sold by MAC dealers which is owned by Stanley. Have been told the New Britain were a better tool though. Good luck.

NEw britain went out of buisness in the 80s. Actually, Stanley bought them out. ANd stanley makes MAc, Proto, Blackhawk, and Husky.

New Britain Was making Husky tools for a very long time, until stanley bought them out. Stanley is still making husky tools.

NB was/is good stuff
