Craftsman Circular Saw Problems

Okay gents I am having a bit of trouble changing the blade on my Craftsman™ circular saw model 10855. I don't have the blade wrench and cannot locate a brake on the blade. Any advise?

A socket wrench or closed-end wrench of the appropriate size should give you something to turn the bolt head. The saw DOES come with a spindle lock which should be used to keep the shaft from turning. It is usually a black button between the blade guard and the motor below the handle toward the front of the saw.

If the lock is broke or missing you can scotch the blade with a screwdriver. Don't forget to unplug the saw first
