Craftsman air compressor leaking

I have a Craftsman permanently lubricated portable air compressor model number 919.165380 which just recently started leaking air through a pin hole in the head. I assume that this pin hole is manufactured into the head for some reason so what could of gone wrong to cause it to start leaking air. Could a faulty check valve be causing this problem or is there some other part that could be causing the air leak. This air compressor is less than 2 years old and out of warranty.

Air Compressor Sear 919.165380

I too have the same model and a leak just started. I pulled the head off and also found a pin hole. What was your solution?

A hole in the diaphram can only be fixed by replacing it.
