12v dc power inverter works ok o.o vdc to 9.9vdc drain battery and recharge three or four times works great. Would like to convert a 18v pack to accept subc and be able ti just dropp in and go complete with springs and buttons. Dewalt would never do this of course they would loose to much money. Instead they would rather have us sorry saps a slave to buying there overpriced batteries.

Lugnut, it isn't DeWatt batteries, that are high, I have 3 Ryobi cordless drills, because I could get a new drill, with battery cheaper, then just buying the battery. For some reason everything is like that. Battery for my laptop, 1/3 the price for a new 1, cellphone just about half.
