Can I wet dry diamond blades?

Can I wet dry diamond blades?

I need to cut a bunch of paver bricks for a patio project. Quite a few brick/masonary blades I see are dry cut only.

Is there any reason why I can't or should not use a dry blade in a wet saw to keep dust and heat down? Wouldn't that also lengthen the life of the blade?

if you are using a diamond blade you can run water even if it says dry cut.
just be sure you have a blade designed for pavers and the rpm of your saw.
