But what if they stink?
I haven't even used up the blades that were in the knives yet, to even try the Lenoxs
Lenoxs...Lenoxes...whatever...

Oh good, I can't wait to get mine! I'm tired of using the same old blades that have half the teeth missing. (too cheap to buy new ones for my saw).

Of course, I already know that the Lennox blades are no match for my favorite: Milwaukee Axe blades

The Axe blades are thicker and are practically impossible to bend. If you haven't tried them, you ought to!

Hey I'm getting Spam!
The other one was from Irwin (one of the companies that is giving away blades) so technically that's not spam
This one is from Strait-Line
I didn't sign up for any free laser beams

I got my Bosch blade today. Nothing from Irwin yet. Getting some pretty nice woodworking tool catalogs but don't know who gave my address to them.

Me, wife, kitty, we're all getting them
Fortunately wife and kitty don't have a recip saw so one of them says they will give me the blades
The other one says she'll trade for some tuna

I don't know about the Axe blades but this Bosch Heavy Metal blade only flexes 1/16" when supporting the ends and pushing in the middle. Pretty stout.

I got that same one in the mail today! Yeah for free tools! Even if they are just accessories.

Dang, Rapture got his stuff before me! Of course, that's probably only because we didn't get mail yesterday with the 20" of snow - neither wind, sleet, snow, rain or dark of night my butt!

More Bosch!

I just received another set of Bosch reciprocating blades today. My wife was soooo excited when one of the packages had her name on it too. That makes 1 Lenox razor blade, 2 Bosch metal cutting and 1 Bosch wood w/ nails blade. These are pretty durable blades I might add. Do they send free ones out in attempt to making you a customer??? If so, that may have worked on me.

You're absolutely right, Rapture - they're preying on your addiction! If it makes you feel any better, all I've gotten so far are the lenox utility knife blades and the recip saw blade I ordered for my wife.

Finally got my bosch recip saw blade today, a week and a half after my wife's showed up and they were ordered minutes apart. Surprisingly, no spam yet!

I wonder how much of that inventory was depleted by members of this site.

I had totally forgotten this when a very strong envelope arrived. Had no clue what it was but got it open and out fell a shiny new Bosch demolition recip saw blade! This was a great tip, thanks for sharing it!

MIL finally got my/her Bosch blade yesterday. I still haven't gotten anything from Irwin except e-mails with contests to enter.

Lol...they had 15,000 requests
(I'm quite sure Rapture stopped at 10,000)
We're sorry, but 15,000 tradesmen like you have already requested their free Bosch Recip Blade. In fact, the demand has been so great that we've exceeded our supply for this promotion.

That's frickin' funny. It was quite funny when I opened my second blade that arrived. My wife just rolled her eyes and said I was spoiled when it came to tools and whatnot. I then proceeded to let her know I was thinking of her and got her one of her own too

No Irwin yet, just the Lenox Gold blades (sent in for the free utility knife ) and three Bosch reciprocating blades...it would be only two of them, but my wife decided I could have hers too.

My wife's Irwin blades were in the mailbox when I got home tonight. Sounds like we're running even at this point.

Got the Bosch and the Irwin so far. Bosch looks stout. We'll find out tomorrow when I do a demo. Will let you know. I'll use the Irwin's when I run out of the 100 I just bought.

Tried my lenox utility blade today for the first time - might just be my imagination, but it seemed a little sharper than the stanley blades I normally use.

Hi! I read these posts so I decided to drop by.. I'd like to share to you the kind of blade that I've been using. Have you heard of klever kutter? My officemate gave me this cutter and I'm happy using it. It's affordable and you can buy it from these sites..

Just check out the prices from these sites because sometimes, one of them sells it at a lower price.. My friend bought it from safecutters. By the way, my husband has a irwin blue blade and he loves it but I believe that safety should come first..

Moderator note: Removed commercial web addresses. This thread offered free blades and no advertising was used.
