Wink Screw Gun

I am really enjoying using this web site. Thanks for all the great advice.

Does anyone have an opinion about the Senco Duraspin AC screw gun or the Duraspin 14.4 v. model? Does the battery hold up and is it strong enough to do the job on 1 5/8" screws?

Thanks again.

I don't own one, but used one on a jobsite once. You will probably have to buy an extra battery because in doing a deck, you will be driving so many screws, so fast, the battery will wear down, and will not recharge before you wear down the second one. To be honest, it is probably a very good tool, but I didn't like it. Here, again, opinions are like belly buttons.

If cordless might be a problem, Milwaukee makes the 6706-20 Sharp-Fire Screwdriver System which is corded. I do not own one but have seen them in stores. They are not cheap but I bet they work just fine.
