water pressurizer

We have a water pressurizer that is not making the water come out with any pressure. We have followed the step by step on the front of the box and still no real pressure. Just about the same as the hose or even less??? Could there be something we are missing. It says to hold the nossle tightly due to kickback but there is not kick back at all.

Are you describing a pump for a well? This is an electrically operated device, right?

If you're talking about a pressure washer, it sounds like you don't have a nozzle in the end of the wand..

Either that, or you're not pulling the trigger. It may take a minute or so for the pump to prime, but once it does, you will have adequate pressure.

thanks - yes it is a water pressure washer. We did figure it out. Apparently my dear husband had it plugged into my car (I have a plug in there) and it did not have enough power. We plugged it into the garage and it worked fine. Oppps
