Question Makita Miter Gauge

My son in law recently gave me his old Makita table saw (model 2703). He did not have or was he able to find the Miter gauge that fits the saw.
Scouring online I discovered that the slot that the gauge fits into is 1/2" wide and not the 3/4's" wide that seems to be standard on most saws.

Anyway does anyone have any suggestions or point me in right direction for a miter gauge that will fit?? Other than the Makita?

Hi Mark,

If you go to this page, they have your gauge for sale (cheap, too)

http://www.northwestpowertools.com/table/2703.htm

By the way, that saw had excellent reviews in '05, so it's not that old

Thanx for reply..I did find the replacement Makita gauge but was looking for something that was maybe a "step-up" from what Makita offered.

The problem is the slot that gauge fits and slides through is not "standard" size.
