I need to remove some vinyl siding without damaging. What tool would be used to do the unconnecting of panels?

You need a vinyl siding tool. About 6" long, with a special hook on the end. they cost about $2.50. You can get them at any home improvement store.

The tool is made by Malco. Model SRT-1. It is the best siding removal tool I've seen.

A mini wonder bar works in a pinch, as does a piece of siding turned upside down (use the same hook that you are trying to pry).
