repairing power tools
#1
I cut through the power cord on my craftsman circular saw and was wondering how can I repair/replace the cord?

Hi:Parker
Replacing the power cord should pose no problem. Just draw a diagram showing the wires, there connection points and there colors.
Remove the existing wires by opening up the cover on the saw body, remove the screws that secure the wires and take the cord to the hardware store.
Replace all the wire parts with a new cord and plug of exactly the same size, lenght and rating as the orginal.
Good Luck,
