Red face

My father has trouble with running over the edge of the car ramps he has when he wants to change his oil. My question- does anyone have any ideas on how to rig something up so he can know when to stop and not continue over the ramps? I've thought about two poles with flags that he could somehow see when he's gone far enough and stop. Has anyone had the same problem when trying to run a car up a ramp alone? My father is older and doesn't have the best sight in the world either. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!!---Vince

Hi,
You should be able to build a simple stand out of two boards put together like a T high enough so he can see it over the hood... When he pulls the car up if he starts to hit it he knows he's in the right position...
It is difficult to judge when trying to pull a car up on ramps alone... I have never ran over but have come close to missing the ramps a little on the left or right...
I am hoping he wouldn't have a problem seeing when he drives...
Best of luck,
Terry...
