How does a palm air nailer (triggerless) work as compared to a pneumatic nail gun?

A palm nailer is still run on air, It is used for nailing in tight spaces where a full size gun or hammer can't access well.

their is a cylinder that protrudes from the nailer itself that holds the nail. Once you put the cyclinder over the area to nail, apply pressure and it's rat-a-tat-tat and the nail is in. as far as durability goes, it's yet to be tested. i would also make sure you can completely set the nail on an angle (such as a toe-nail in framing). you're better off with a nail gun, unless you have arthritis or carpal-tunnel probs.
