Angle Grinder Recommendations

Looking to purchase an angle grinder. Planning to use it to shape a paver walkway and various other home improvement stuff.

Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt

I've had a old Makita for years, cause I got a great close-out deal. But I've used the others and they all work pretty good. Look for a shield you can adjust without tools. Also good if they have a button style shaft lock. Go with a 4 1/2" Gives you a bit more depth of cut.

Metabo is probably the best grinder on the market. I have Makita, DW, Milwaukee and a few others and still love the Metabo. It has a toolless blade nut which beats loosing the spanner wrenches like I do. It also has a great locking switch.

A major plus on the Metabo is that it has a clutch which will slip if you jam the grinding wheel. That means it won't break your wrist while you fumble for the switch.
