Seeking Gas-Powered Pressure Washer Reccomendations
I'm looking into buying a pressure washer and would like some recommendations on reputable brands and models. From what I see searching online, the vast majority of pressure washers in my price range are pretty unreliable and I'd like to get something that will last a while with minimal service and regular maintenance. I'm looking on the low end for gas-powered products; maybe $350 - $400. As of this morning I've got my eye on a ETQ (Eastern Tool and Equipment) TWP2500 2,500 PSI 2.5 GPM 6.5 HP 200cc 4-Cycle OHV Gas Powered model. I've also looked into some Karcher models, but read a few horror stories despite mostly positive reviews. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

You qualify your wishes too much. You want a reputable brand, but "low end". Try looking at models made by Devilbiss. Their compressors seem to be rugged, and easily repaired with parts that are readily available. That is something you need to keep in mind if you plan on keeping it a while. I bought mine at big orange several years ago (2300 psi) and it operates flawlessly. I think I paid about $300 for it on sale.

thanks. i guess that was poor word choice. To clarify, I meant the low end of the global price range for gas powered washers not low end brand or quality. All gas powered models seem to start around 300 dollars and I don't want to spend too much more than that so I was asking if there was a reliable brand/model at that price point.

If you're up close to Norcross (Jimmy Carter Blvd.), I believe there is a tool outlet up there that sells new and reconditioned name brand tools. I just can't think of the name of it. I left Atlanta over 10 years ago. May be worth checking out.

i'm not terribly close, but the drive wouldn't be unreasonable, especially if I found a deal over there. I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip.
