Question Intermittent roybi p200

ryobi p200 occasionally runs intermittently when trigger is depressed. Moving trigger in and out will eventually result in sustained operation. This is begining to happen more frequently. Would it be motor (it acts kind of like worn brushes did on old corded drills) or a worn out switch? any ideas/experience? Thanks

Welcome to the forums! If it works intermittently with switch pulls and you aren't having to shake it or bang it (that's what I had to do to mine....bad batteries) then it could be a malfunctioning switch segment, since they are variable speed.
