Older craftsman 10" radial saw

Can someone tell me if there is some kind of tool that hooks up to the threaded end of the shaft oppisite the blade. Craftsman model # 113.199410

There are several tool, one being a drill chuck, or a milling chuck. You may be able to find things in Sears Parts. For the most part I think it was an afterthought and never used by many people. I know I never use mine (early 1970).

New Table Saw

OK, guys, get your cup of envy ready! Step son moved to another city. Used to do trim work, but is in another line of work, now. Asked if I would be able to store some of his tools in my barn. Sure. What I didn't know was the table saw was a Delta Unisaw with 7' table, 3 HP motor, Biesemyer fence set up, JessEm Powermatic router insert...........Sure I'll store it for you..........in my shop!! He'll never use it again, and if he does, he will need to bring 4 big bubbas to move that thing!! I will store my 1970's Craftsman in the barn! Oscallating Tool - Sonicraft or dremel? Understandig the Mortor's AMP!

Hi, I would like to buy an Oscallating Tool and I have looked at the: 1. Rockwell/Sonicraft - 6 speeds - 20,000 - Oscallating Round Minute 2. Dremel with variable speed as well - 21,000 - Oscallating Round Minute Sonicraft has a 2.3 amp motor and the Dremel has a 1.5 amp motor. My question: - I know little about "AMP" other that it is the energy flowing/used to/by the motor and I was wondering if it makes a difference in the strenght of the motor's tool, i.e. would I get more strenght from the Sonicraft (2.3 AMP) compared to the Dremel (1.5 AMP) ?? - Explaining what really the AMP does in a tool, would be appreciated... Other info: I believe the Rockwell as a strong interior metal structure. I do not know about the Dremel. I do renos occassionaly and I'm not planning to use the tool everyday but I do want something that will last long and do the job right. I prefer corded opposed to wireless.
