I'm thinking about upgrading from the old single shot remington that you smack with a hammer. Which model of Hilti gun would you recommend?

I have an older one, but it only shoots 1 1/2" pins. I am still relegated to the hammer type. So I'm not much help, but I'll check back to see what the others recommend, because there is always room for Jello..... er tools!!

What are you attaching? If your doing steel studs and track I suggest switching to a Passload Trackfast.

I don't work with steel studs much. Mostly it would be attaching treated 2x to cement or steel.

Unless your looking to spend about $600+ you should look at the trigger operated Remington guns.

Well, I'm not opposed to getting something used. I've used a friend's Hilti DX451 ($199 or less on ebay) and liked it, but wondered if there was any particular model that anyone liked a lot.
