capacitor motor test & repair
1 HP motor off Craftsman 10" table saw suddenly quit. How to test & repair. Replacement no longer offered by Sears.

YMMV When my saw motor (craftsman) quit, I found an old guy who works on motors and he told me the problem without even taking the motor apart. I had him do it anyway and he showed me that there is a "copper" contact switch in there that gets dirty/ burnt and he cleaned it. Back in business. Thats been 5 yrs now.
