I bought this 220v 12inch Craftsman table saw 20 years ago and the switch has

gone out on it. For the last few months I've been using the saw by plugging the cord in and unplugging it to turn it on and off (after I bypassed the bad switch). I contacted Sears Parts Dept. and they told me that model was discontinued years ago and there was no replacement switch they could recommend...Wonder what I should do to to get a safe working on/off switch on the saw? Anyone have any ideas? Would any 220v motor switch work? Then I guess I would have to mount it in a good easily accessible place. Need a cheap but safe solution. Thanks.
