Use a sabre saw or other type to cut into 1/2" hemlock wall boards?

I need to cut a hole in the bathroom for an electrical outlet box. What is best tool for this project? The interior wall is 1/2" thick hemlock wood vertical boards. I would like to have nice clean cut.
I have a sabre saw and jig saw?
Or is there a better tool?
Thanks

Mark out where the box needs to be, and drill 4, holes the size of a jig saw blade and drill at the 4 outside corners.
Use a down cutting jig saw blade.
