Embarrassing question about Dewalt bit holder...
So i have this on my drill: DeWalt Bit Holder for 20V Max Impact Driver/Drill DCF885 DCF885C2 DCF885L2 - Amazon.com and I have no idea how to put the bits in there. They just wont fit, despite looking exactly like the ones in the pictures. Any tips? Thanks.

Those things are very tight on almost every drill or driver I own, even though they aren't the samebrand. You just kinda force it in. Takes a lot of thumb pressure.

I deleted your other thread...one per question please. Don't worry...this area gets plenty of looks by the same people. They hear "tool?" and they come running.

Surprisingly the bit holds on my Dewalt's are the only ones I use. I never put in really short bits intended for magnetic holders as they can be very difficult to get out but bits about 1 1/2" long work well. If using a Philips bit make sure you clip it in with the Philips end protruding so you can get your finger under it for removal. If it's hard to get the bit into the holder try starting it at an angle. Get the heel end of the bit shoved in then rock the rest of the bit into the clip.
