Splitting a B&D random orbit sander

Hi,
I need to split my Black/Decker random orbit sander (Model410 I believe) to replace the on/off switch (part#6).
The online parts diagram is quite clear, but I'm worried about the brushes and other small parts. Am I going to have trouble re-assembling this thing?
I'll try to attach a pic.

Sander

Lay it on its side so that the housing on the right side of the diagram is on top. That way it will not completely fall apart. Just my 2 cents. Good luck with your project.
