The wiring is a simple two wire make-break N.O. Set up. Is your switch bad? May be a bear finding one, as they are indigenous to Ryobi. Side by side comparison to a Ridgid may come up with a match.

The saw runs but the brake dose not,I believe it is more than a single pole switch.

It is a half wave rectifier that needs replacing, and i don't think it is part of the switch. It is probably wired closer to the axle where it can pick up rpm's of the blade. The motor is acting like a "motor" when energy is applied. When the energy is released it acts like a generator in reverse, thus the braking action, until no generator power is left.
