Hi there,

I've this tool in my house. We asked many professionals but no one seems to know what is it for?

Any guess?

Many thanks!

I'm not sure either but I have a few observations. It's adjustable. The wires or whatever you want to call them can be adjusted by spinning the chromed piece that has the teeth in them. The fact that it has a plastic handle says that it's very old. I imagine that something would be inserted between the wires & wrap around the shaft. Are there any names or #s on it?

Edit: Joe might not be far off. I think that it's a kitchen tool, maybe for meat.

Edit #2: It might be a knife sharpener.

I can't see the pics real well on my little phone but it reminds me of a meat rotisserie that would screw into the back of your oven... which would then rotate the meat as it cooks over a pan. Look in the back of your oven for a little trap door on the back wall of the oven.
