Crown molding jig

good day

i bought one of these

Ogee Cut - Fuller Tools

while it works nicely. I have always measured my crown molding on the bottom of the piece of trim. With this jig it is top up. So how can a person see the measurement mark if it is facing down?? Does anyone have any tricks to using this jig or similar for measuring l?

thanks

Never used any kind of jig on my crown. I cut mine upside down and backwards and have had great success. I looked at your link and honestly, wouldn't know what to do with that jig.
