Ingersoll Rand Industrial Air compressor Service alarm

We have a industrial Ingersoll Rand screw type air compressor at the shop model SSR-UP6-40-150 serial PG2474U06116. It has the INTELLISYS control. The display keeps saying SERVICE and has the flashing alarm light. I reset it by pressing the set button but it comes back a couple hours later. I checked the coolant level and the internal air filter as well as the coolant filter. All check out fine. The filter on the side of the unit gets changed about once a month. coolant/oil is full. I found the manual online but all it says is that
10 ALARM L.E.D.
This will flash when a warning condition exists. The warning
detected will be displayed and the compressor will continue to run. The
warning can be reset by depressing set .
It will illuminate when an alarm condition has occurred. The
compressor will shutdown immediately. The alarm can be reset by
depressing set twice within 3 seconds
The manual gives a list of alarms but does not mention the service alarm and what to service. I checked the fuses and they are good.

On your unit a Warning indication is likely different from a Service indication.

It is common for the Service indication to be running time based as a reminder to perform maintenance on the unit.
If this is what you are experiencing the manual should clearly explain what maintenance is required and how to reset the warning.

The fault message should be appearing on the display.

CONTROLLER WARNING MESSAGES
In the event of a warning, the controller will display a message and
the alarm L.E.D. [10] will flash. The warning message will alternate with
the normal display every 4 seconds, the compressor will continue to run
but the fault should be rectified as soon as possible. The arrow keys
[23] should be used to index the display for any additional warning
messages. A warning message may be reset by depressing set [21]
once.

Manual I'm looking at.... page 33...... manualslib/Ingersoll-Rand-Ssr-Up6-40.html

The fault message is "service". That's the message I get. It just says "service" on the screen. I reset it by pressing the SET button but it comes back awhile later. The manual doesn't say what the SERVICE message means. I checked both air filters. I checked the coolant level. I checked the coolant filter. Everything looks fine.

How are you "checking" these various filters? If you are looking at differential pressure gauges are you doing so when the compressor is running at maximum load?
