How to make pressure washer spray further?

I have a black and decker 1200w pressure washer. How can I make it spray water a long distance eg 30 or 40 feet or 10 metres or even further . Can I saw off the nozzle?
I'm aware that the water pressure will drop.

It needs the small nozzle to create the pressure. You need a different nozzle that gives a pinpoint instead of a spray. Mine is adjustable but I don't think I can get 40 feet out of it.

You are referring to a small electric PW, only so much pressure and water volume, not going to be able to do much!

Why do you need to shoot the water that far? Even if you had a pressure washer powerful enough to shoot that far the cleaning ability would be greatly reduced.

btw - welcome to the forums!

Your pressure washer will give you 1500 psi @ 1 gal/min.
It is about the lowest capacity washer you can buy.

As said, the 0 deg tip for that unit would give you the longest stream.
The tips for your machine would be matched to it and a smaller orifice might go somewhat further but there would be a significant loss of volume.
I also don't think anyone would make a lower capacity nozzle than what you have.
If you need more reach a unit of about 4000 psi@3.5 gal/min would have more water volume at a higher pressure and do what you want.

A standard garden hose with a good nozzle would likely go further than what you have.

If you have removable tips the red one is the smallest one and shots the as far as your washer can go.

If it's a matter of being closer to your work, it is usually better to add hose instead of extension cords.
