Rigid nail gun R213BNE loads magazine with pressurized air

Hello all,

I bought a Rigid pancake compressor with two Rigid nail gun.

Here is what the manual has to say:
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
The tool’s driving mechanism may cycle when the tool is first connected to the air supply. Always connect the tool to a pressurized air supply before loading nails to prevent injury from unintended cycling. Always make sure the tool’s magazine is empty at the beginning of each work session, before connecting to an air supply.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Q1> I saw many other nail guns require to load the magazine while the gun is not connected to any pressurized air. While Rigid requires you to load the magazine with the pressurized air. Is this normal?

Q2> The manual asks to connect the hose with an empty magazine. Is that a real pain to use the gun? Does anyone have a similar experience with Rigid nail gun?

Thank you

I have a rigid 16 gauge nail gun and I almost always load the nails while the gun is disconnected from the air hose - it's often easier that way. Not sure if I ever did read the instructions.

If the nail guns were a separate purchase, return and get ones that don.t cause you concerns. If part of a package, return everything and start over after more research. Good luck.
