I have a set of deep impact sockets that wobble significantly when I use them with my Ingersoll Rand 231c impact. Is this typical of deep sockets, or does it sound like I have a worn hog ring on my gun? I have noticed that sockets come off pretty easily, whereas when the gun was new I nearly had to pry them off. I don't think the gun ever operated very smoothly though. This is the only impact I've ever owned, so I have nothing to compare it to. The anvil feels solid and spins true, so I think the gun is fine. I tried a Craftsman socket and a Tekton socket and they both wobble. I need a Momentary-ON Detent Trigger Switch. model no: FD04-2116. I opened the switch case and found that the contactor is wrecked. I cannot find this switch of an equivalent-compatible switch, and the parts diagram for the tool doesn't list this part. A link to this part, or its equivalent-compatible, would be greatly appreciated.
