Coping Saw with Scroll Saw Blades?
15+ years ago a bought a King Canada Scroll saw and at the same time was a sale on the pin type blades and I bought about 30 packs of them. However using this saw was not a pleasant experience because its vibration used to knock off the shelves items at the other end of my garage and so I sold it but got stuck with the blades.
Recently I had the need to use those blades and I thought they will fit on a coping saw I have but I discovered they don’t. Searching I could not find any type of hand saw which will accept the 5” Scroll saw blades and I wonder why.
Is there a reason why there is no hand saw to accept 5” Scroll saw blades?
By the way I was able to bent the coping saw frame to accept my Scroll saw blades.

A 5" long blade is OK for some small hobby work on easy to cut material like balsa. 5" is just too short a blade for much else. You have to make many, tiny little baby strokes with the saw. My natural sawing motion needs a longer blade.

I understand Pilot Dane but the coping saw blade I think its 6.5” not a big difference from 5” long and by the way they also are as thin as the scroll blades,
Thanks
