15+ years ago a bought a King Canada Scroll saw and at the same time was a sale on the pin type blades and I bought about 30 packs of them. However using this saw was not a pleasant experience because its vibration used to knock off the shelves items at the other end of my garage and so I sold it but got stuck with the blades. Recently I had the need to use those blades and I thought they will fit on a coping saw I have but I discovered they don’t. Searching I could not find any type of hand saw which will accept the 5” Scroll saw blades and I wonder why. Is there a reason why there is no hand saw to accept 5” Scroll saw blades? By the way I was able to bent the coping saw frame to accept my Scroll saw blades.

Hi folks (hopefully I'm in the right spot for this).... I'm trying to buy a friend a replacement blade for their Hitachi Compound Miter Saw (for Christmas), and I'm striking out. I was curious if you're able to help me find a replacement based on the data below and the pictures. Looks like Hitachi was purchased by "Metabo HPT", so I'm seeing some of those blades coming up on the Lowes website. There's just so many I want to make sure I have the right one. Here's the data I have: 1. Hitachi 8.5" compound miter saw 2. C8FSE (I'm assuming that's the model number) 3. The blade is scratched up so it's hard to read, but it looks like 8.5" x 5 / (something)" x 5 / (something)". I'm assuming one of those is the arbor and one is the thickness of the cut? Maybe the arbor is 5/8"? 4. Max safe speed: 7,000 RPM Check out the pictures...THANKS!
