Dremel multi-max

I have a Dremel Multi-Max MM40 electric cutting tool and I'm cutting some door trim with it. It keeps losing the cutting tool as I'm trying to cut a piece of thin wood. Why is it doing that? Thanks.

Do you mean the blade keeps coming loose ?
The blades are keyed with a pins and multiple holes in the blade.
The retaining allen key screw usually has a lockwasher on it to keep it tight.

Are you using Dremel blades? I have found that some blades from different companies do not play nice with other brand tools.
