Wrong Bit?

Drilling into screw head for removal
Having trouble drilling into rusted-out screw heads for removal. I know how to use a screw extractor, but I've dulled two bits and can't get a hole started. Are there special bits for this???

Hello and Welcome Roland to our Do-It-Yourself Web Site and for posting your question in my Sharpening forum.
Depending upon what type of material the screws are made out of would determine what material and type of drill bits to use.
Since your already dulling bits, I assume your using ordinary steel twist drill bits. If so, you'll need to visit the local hardware store and request bits made of titanium, cobalt or carbide.
