1 15/16 socket
Does anyone know where i can buy a 1 15/16 socket. I need this for rear hub bearing on old british sports car. Ventured out to local sears where i buy all my stuff and amazingly!!! they had 1 7/8 and 2' sockets but not the size i need. i tried an auto parts store that sells "quality" 5 dollar sockets lol but even they didnt have one that large. Does craftsman make this size or am i just a doofus and cant find it ?

You might try S-K, Snap On, KD, Proto and the other major professional tool companies. You might also look in Sears Industrial catalog, it may have to be special ordered. I recently bought out the contents of a parts store and he had weird sizes like 25mm and such . They were S-K.
The generic Craftsman line usually carries the normal sizes, the inbetweeners are usually special order or catalog only.

how do i order from the industrial catalog? I have a few s-k wrenches but honestly dont recall where i bought them. the metric "equivalent" is a problem because they dont have that large either and technically 1 15/16 is 49.2 mm so i dont know if a 49 or 50 would fit. Thanks again--Josh

Try looking up "Sears Industrial" in www.google.com
Again, likely one of their vendors (Armstrong, Williams, Proto, S-K) have it, not Craftsman (although they might in an extended industrial line).
Craftsman sockets are made by K-D (part of Danaher).
